The University of Tokyo American Football Team, known as the Warriors, is dedicated to understanding and bridging the differences between college sports environments in Japan and the United States. Since 2017, the University of Tokyo Warriors have embarked on a series of reforms aimed at elevating the team’s standards to meet global benchmarks. These efforts bore fruit in the 2018 season when the Warriors were promoted to the TOP 8, the premier division of the Kanto region’s top league. Since then, the Warriors have continued to compete in the TOP 8, striving to become the best collegiate team in Japan.
